Keynote Lecture and Welcome reception
Monday Nov 28, 2011: 18:30 - 22:00
We welcome prof. Pal Brekke for the lecture 'The Norhtern Lights - a message from the Sun', 18:30-19:30. The keynote lecture will take place in the theater in Italian style - a cultural highlight! After the keynote lecture, you will get a short historical overview of the city Namen. We conclude with a snack and some drinks in the foyer of the theater.
Where: Theatre de Namur-Place du Theatre, 2, 5000 Namur, one minute walk from the conference site - a map or just follow the group.

Debate - Space Weather Risks to Navigation: How concerned should we be?

5 panel members will try to convince you: Aerts Wim, Bryn Jones, Kamalabadi Farzad, Robert Emilien and Sleewaegen Jean-Marie. Clark Stuart will guide you through all the opinions.

Beer tasting
Wednesday Nov 30, 2011: 17:30 - 19:30
We offer you two ways to visit the space weather fair: first without the consumption of a belgian beer, second, after the consumption of a belgian beer. It's up to you to decide when the stands look at their best. You can taste: Orval, Chimay Bleu, Maredsous, Blanche de Namen. To avoid the phenomenon 'doubled stands', we offer a snack.
Where: Conference site - room 'Plein Ciel', level 4.

Conference Dinner

You are invited for the eigth edition of the conference dinner in buffet format in the Arsenal. More about the Arsenal for those who speak French - for those who don't: pictures.
Where: Arsenal, Rue Bruno 11, B-5000 Namur, 5 to 10 minutes walk from the conference site, depending on your speed and on your ability to read a map
