We therefore expect solar activity to remain very low. The solar wind speed has already started to increase due to the large transequatorial coronal hole. The speed is currently at 700km/s, but still increasing. The IMF is alternating between north and south orientation. Geomagnetic conditions are still quiet, but are expected to reach minor storm conditions later today and for the following days.
