COMMENT: Solar activity was very low during the last 24 hours, with no
noticeable flaring activity. Goes X-ray flux background is now at A5
levels. No flaring activity above C level is expected within the next 48
hours.
Geomagnetic activity was very low. The solar wind speed measured by the
ACE satellite is below 500 km/s as the Earth slowly quits the high speed
stream coming from the southern coronal hole. Quiet conditions are
expected for the next 48 hours.
