The solar wind sped is now rising again slightly to 480 km/s, which remains much below the 650km/s of previous solar rotations. We thus confirm our early conclusion: the recurrent coronal hole has largely decayed and the associated wind stream will probably be much less geoeffective. We thus predict only unsettled geomagnetic conditions with only a small chance for active periods over the coming two days. The Earth magnetosphere will then return to quiet levels.
