Mostt active regions on the solar disk are small or decaying. A weak disturbance reached the Earth late on March 18, causing temporary unsettled to active geomagnetic conditions. It is now decaying with a solar wind speed around 500 km/s. We thus expect a return to quiet geomagnetic conditions for the next two days. Late on day 3 of the forecast, conditions may become unsettled under the influence of a small coronal hole now passing the solar central meridian. TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 048, BASED ON 19 STATIONS.
